How to Delete Your Trip Tasks Account
We respect your right to control your personal data. If you wish to delete your Trip Tasks account and associated data, please follow the instructions below.
Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Trip Tasks account:
- Send an email to: support@triptasks.app
- Include the email address associated with your Trip Tasks account
- Use "Account Deletion Request" as the subject line
- We will process your request within 72 hours
What Data Will Be Deleted
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- Account Information: Your user profile, email address, and authentication details
- Trip Cards: All camping reservations and reminder cards you've created
- Reminders: All scheduled notifications and reminder preferences
- Settings: Your app preferences, booking window settings, and notification preferences
- Cloud Data: Any data synced to our cloud services (premium users)
Data Retention
After account deletion, we may retain certain information as required:
- Anonymized Analytics: Usage statistics that cannot be linked to you (retained for 30 days)
- Transaction Records: Purchase history for legal and tax purposes (retained as required by law)
- Support Communications: Email exchanges related to customer support (retained for 90 days)
Important Notes
- Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- If you have an active subscription, please cancel it through the App Store or Google Play before requesting deletion
- Local data on your device will remain until you uninstall the app
- You can create a new account with the same email address after deletion is complete
